KUKUZI is a responsible and dedicated family business that produces extra virgin olive oil for almost 100 years using traditional methods. Since 1921 we deal with the cultivation of olives, when our great-grandparents planted the first olive trees of the variety “Patrinia” in northern Peloponnese.

Olymp Award 2018

We are delighted to announce that KUKUZI Olive Oil, which participated in the Taste Olymp Awards for the Highest Quality Food and Beverage Competition, won the SILVER Olympic 2018 Taste Award.

In this competition, the products were tested with the “blind” method, without packaging and without any distinctive element. Each product has been assigned a code number to ensure reliable tracking. The evaluation of the samples was carried out by numerous jury panels under the guidance of the Olympic Award panel leader, the Chef Mr. Konstantinos Mouzakis. Each judge from the Chefs’ Club individually conducted an organoleptic analysis of the test product and recorded a numerical result on the score sheet that reflected the general sense of enjoyment as well as other criteria such as appearance, smell, texture, taste and mouthfeel.
